Secret Games by Wendy Ewald
“I think there is something like clouds in my mind. When I imagine a lot of things, the clouds fill up as if it’s about to rain.” Teresa López, San Cristóbal de las Casas
Wendy Ewald has dedicated her life to teaching children literacy through photography. The images from rural Kentucky to Mexico to India and beyond provide a compelling insight into a moment “at the end of childhood.” Some of my favorite images are also the ones I find most haunting: the children’s dreams and fantasies.
