I came here with my daughter, granddaughter, and ex-husband. We like the chicken dinner. Believe me, it’s rare that you’d see me getting along with my family the way I was today. We had to put down our 12-year-old toy poodle this morning. I carried her in there and held her in my arms while she died. She was like one of the family, and I guess she brought us close one more time. This was a good day, but —what can I say— families just aren’t the way they used to be.
